Managing your DNSdone subscription

How to manage your DNSdone subscription, including upgrading, downgrading, and cancelling

Your subscription controls your plan, billing cycle, and available features in DNSDone. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time — all changes take effect immediately and are handled securely through Stripe.

View your current plan

  1. Go to Billing → Subscription.
  2. You’ll see your current plan, renewal date, and available features.
  3. Click Manage subscription to open your Stripe customer portal.

From there, you can update payment details, view invoices, or change plans.

Upgrade or downgrade your plan

  1. In the Stripe customer portal, select Change plan.
  2. Choose a new plan that matches your needs.
  3. Confirm the change — your new plan takes effect right away.

If you’re upgrading, Stripe prorates your payment so you only pay the difference. If you’re downgrading, the change applies at the next renewal.

Cancel your subscription

  1. Open the Stripe customer portal from your Billing page.
  2. Click Cancel subscription.
  3. Confirm the cancellation.

You’ll retain full access until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account switches to the free plan with limited features.

Restarting a canceled plan

You can restart your subscription anytime:

  1. Go to Billing → Subscription.
  2. Click Reactivate plan.
  3. Confirm in Stripe — your billing cycle resumes immediately.

No data or requests are lost when switching between paid and free plans.

Troubleshooting common issues

  1. Trial expired: choose any paid plan to continue without interruption.
  2. Payment failed: update your card in Stripe to avoid account suspension.
  3. Downgrade restrictions: ensure your current usage fits within the limits of the new plan.
