Once your DNS request includes all the records you need, share it with your client or teammate so they can view the changes and take action.
Recipients don’t need an account! They receive a secure link to view the request, see all DNS details, and confirm when updates are done.
Add recipients
- Open your DNS request.
- Go to the Recipients tab.
- Click Add recipient and enter one or more email addresses.
- Press Enter or click Add to confirm.
Each recipient will automatically receive an email with a secure, share-only link to view the request.
Manage access
After adding recipients, you can:
- Remove someone if access is no longer needed.
- Resend the invitation email if they didn’t receive it.
- See when a recipient opened the email.
Recipients can only view and confirm. They can’t edit records or change settings.
What recipients see
Recipients get a clean, read-only view of your DNS request, including:
- Domain name and DNS provider (if detected)
- All requested DNS records with types, names, and values
- Current status (Pending, In Progress, Completed)
- Your workspace name, logo, and contact details
When the work is done, the request is automatically marked as completed.
Tips
- Add all relevant parties — developer, IT contact, or hosting provider.
- Test a recipient link to confirm branding and contact info appear correctly.
- Use clear naming in your Workspace Settings so emails are recognizable.
- For large projects, create separate requests per domain or purpose.
